Step-by-step guide on API key management

Creating the first API key

Creating the first API key

1. To create the first key, click on the "Add key" button.

2. After that, you will see a modal window with information about your key and the secret key for the key you created - save both the key itself and the secret key (used to authenticate the created API key).

The secret key information will not be displayed again.

You can copy the secret key by clicking on the "Copy" button, which saves the secret key to the clipboard and write it to a convenient but secure location.

Please note that for the security of using the API key, the secret key should not be disclosed to anyone.

3. Congratulations, you have created an API key. Now information about it is available in the interface:

  • The default name of the API key (it can be changed, more on this later)
  • The date of creation
  • The key itself
  • A switch button that displays the status of the key (active/inactive). This can also be controlled if you want to stop generating on this key - just put it in an inactive state.
  • The key settings button (three vertical dots), with which you can control the corresponding key (more on this later).

Please note that only 10 keys are available for you to create. When the maximum is reached, the "Add Key" button becomes inactive.

Deleting the API key

Deleting the API key

1. Use the settings button (three vertical dots) opposite the key you need and select the “Delete” action.

2. Next, you will see a warning that this action cannot be undone.

If you are sure that you need to delete this key, select the "Delete" action, when you click on which the key is deleted and disappears from the interface.

3. After that, you will see a message about the successful deletion of the key (or an error if an error occurred during deletion - in this case, try repeating the steps above).

Renaming the API key

Renaming the API key

1. Use the settings button (three vertical dots) opposite the key you need and select the "Rename" action.

2. Enter a new key name (it is important that it does not exactly repeat the names of other keys that you have) in the window with the input field and click "Rename".

3. Great! Now you will see the new name of the changed key in the interface.
