The Layers feature in the Fusion Brain editor provides users with new ways to work with images. Combine, move, and edit images together to speed up your work and get fine-tuned results.
A layer is an image on a canvas. Layers appear after successful generation using AI models or after importing an image from your device onto the canvas.
A composition is a group of layers on a canvas. The composition is created automatically if you finish painting the image (Outpainting) or redraw part of the image (Inpainting) using the Kandinsky model. You can create a composition manually if you move the images on top of each other in the layers panel.
If you move a layer or composition in the layers panel, you can:
The Eraser tool allows you to erase the selected layer or composition. This is useful for removing unnecessary parts of an image while maintaining the original layers and compositions.
As part of the latest update, the mechanics of the Eraser tool have changed.
There are now 2 types of eraser available to users: global and regular.
The global eraser is selected in the main toolbar and, when used, affects all objects on the canvas if the user has swiped on them.
The context eraser is selected via an additional toolbar and applies only to the selected layer(s) or composition. Thus, while swiping an eraser over an unselected element, a backlight mask is not applied there and after the action is completed, empty pixels are formed only on the initially selected elements.
When using the Zoom to selection tool, the selected element will be centered in the editor window with the scale set by the user. This makes it easier to accurately position and work with the elements.
The Duplicate tool creates a copy of the selected element or elements (including all meta information) with an offset. This allows you to quickly create duplicate layers or compositions for further editing.
The Download tool allows the user to download the selected item or items to their device. This is useful for saving intermediate or final versions of the work.
The Delete tool removes the selected item or items from the workspace. Be careful, this action is irreversible.
To work with layers and compositions, you need to open the list by clicking on the "Layers" icon in the editor interface.
The order of layers and compositions is determined according to the list of layers: the very first layer is the topmost, and the last one is the bottom.
We hope that the Layers feature will significantly expand the possibilities, allowing you to work with images more flexibly and efficiently. Use new tools to achieve better results in your projects.
